Manchester United chiefs are believed to be pondering whether or not they press on with their pursuit of Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
According to the Daily Mail, the Red Devils are discussing the possibility of offering the 34-year-old striker a one-year contract now that he is set to become a free agent.
Ibrahimovic's contract with French champions Paris Saint-Germain is up this summer and he is set to depart Parc des Princes after this Saturday's French Cup final against Marseille following four successful seasons in the French capital.
Reports emanating in France have suggested that United have already made an offer to the Swedish superstar but his agent, Mino Raiola, has played down those claims.
United are believed to be keen on Ibrahimovic and are in a position where they could meet his financial demands but the Old Trafford club has to decide if his presence would disrupt the development of their young attackers Anthony Martial and Marcus Rashford before making a serious move for his services.
