Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson is convinced that Wayne Rooney will be available to take on Galatasaray this week.
The striker missed yesterday's 1-0 loss at Norwich City because of tonsillitis but Ferguson is confident he will be ready to travel to Istanbul for the Champions League group clash on Tuesday.
"We hope he will be in on Sunday - we will see what he is like then," Fergie said.
"If he does [come in] hopefully we can get him ready for Tuesday."
United have already qualified for the knockout phase of Europe's premier club competition as they sit eight points clear of Galatasaray and third-placed Cluj.
