Manchester United have completed signing of Angel Di Maria for a British record transfer fee.
The Red Devils have brought in the Argentine winger from Real Madrid for £59.7million on a five-year deal.
26-year old Di Maria completed a medical on Tuesday afternoon and now has officially joined United where he is excited to play under new boss Louis van Gaal at Old Trafford.
"I am absolutely delighted to be joining Manchester United," Di Maria told the club's official website.
"I have thoroughly enjoyed my time in Spain and there were a lot of clubs interested in me, but United is the only club that I would have left Real Madrid for.
"Louis van Gaal is a fantastic coach with a proven track record of success and I am impressed by the vision and determination everyone has to get this club back to the top - where it belongs.
"I now just cannot wait to get started."
52-time Argentina international Di Maria begun his career with hometown club Rosario before moving to Portuguese giants Benfica in 2007.
He joined Real in the summer of 2010 and appeared 190 times for the Spanish giants while helping them win last season's UEFA Champions League title, the 2011/12 La Liga title, one UEFA Super Cup and two Copa del Rey trophies.
