Bayern Munich's Philipp Lahm is attracting plenty of interest from Manchester United.

The 25-year old Germany international is seen as a perfect addition to the squad by United boss Sir Alex Ferguson who has an ageing defence and the fact he recently criticising Bayern manager's Louis van Gaal's role indicates he could potentially be on his way out of the Bundesliga club.

It is believed that Ferguson may swoop for Lahm in January and get him at a reasonable price before his value possibly goes up if he has a good World Cup next year.
