Man Utd coaches Neville, Round see Real Madrid star Ronaldo score for Portugal

Manchester United coaches Phil Neville and Steve Round were in the stands to see Portugal draw with Holland last night.

Neville and Round were at the Algarve Stadium to see Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo score a late equaliser as his side drew 1-1 with Robin van Persie's Holland in Faro, says the Daily Mail.

United have kept the No.7 shirt vacant with just two days to go before the new season starts in the hope of completing a sensational deal to bring Ronaldo back from Real Madrid - four years after he moved to the Bernabeu in a world record £80million transfer.

With David Moyes and new United chief Ed Woodward yet to sign any players this summer amid continued speculation around Wayne Rooney, United know that capturing Ronaldo would send out a huge message both on and off the field.
