Manchester United current backroom staff expect to learn this week if they will be part of Louis van Gaal's team.
The Mail on Sunday says Paul Scholes, Nicky Butt and Phil Neville have still yet to be told what their future is at the club.
It is likely that Butt will return to his work with the Under-21 squad and Scholes and Neville will be offered places coaching younger players.
The position of goalkeeping coach Chris Woods is also unclear as Hoek will now be working with the first team but United may try to keep Woods elsewhere in the club.
