Jose Mourinho has revealed he didn't watch Liverpool's 4-3 win over Manchester City on Sunday.
His Manchester United side closed City's lead at the top of the table to 12 points after they defeated Stoke City 3-0 on Monday night.
Despite taking a step in the right direction, Mourinho was skeptical of the difference it would make in City's dominance.
Speaking after the game, Mourinho said:"I didn't watch Liverpool beat Manchester City, it doesn't change anything.
"The distance is an important distance, I have been there before.
"They have their destiny in their hands."
