Rene Meulensteen is being linked with Michael Laudrup's job at Swansea City.

The People says if Laudrup does go, Swansea will opt for a coach rather than a manager, with old boy Graeme Jones and Manchester United's outgoing Meulensteen in the frame.

Jones is leaving Wigan to join Everton, but the Swans would love him back. Meulensteen, who missed out at Wigan, would also fit the demands.
