Manchester United management is delighted with their capture of Borussia Dortmund midfielder Shinji Kagawa.

United are happy to have grabbed him from under the noses of their rivals.

United's first-team coach Rene Meulensteen told the Daily Star Sunday: "He gets behind the opposition in midfield which means that he can help in possession or be direct in moving forward.

"He can create chances and he can score goals.

"He's got the complete package of what you would want from an attacking midfielder."
