Manchester United reserves coach Warren Joyce says centre-half Michael Keane has been one of his outstanding performers this season.
The teenager's defensive work and dedication has most impressed manager Joyce and all onlookers this term as he matures into a fine prospect.
"Certainly, in my eyes, he is a contender to be Reserve Player of the Year because of his work day in and day out.
"In nearly every game, he does the right thing. He trains really well, makes good decisions as a defensive player, is always brave and makes the right decisions on the ball.
"He works hard anyway in the morning and afternoon but is always doing extra things, more than we set him to do. He deserves all the praise he gets. His attitude to try and be the best he can be every day means he is a credit to himself.""Michael has played really well all season for me," Joyce told ManUtd.com. "We speak before the games and look at things to work on but you're getting to the stage now where all he's got to work on is his talking.
