Real Madrid midfielder Luka Modric has warned coach Zinedine Zidane that Gareth Bale is unsettled.
Modric is close to the Welshman, thanks to their days together at Tottenham.
While Modric is among the most popular players at Real, Bale remains on the outer. He does get along with everyone inside the dressing room, but it is only with Modric that he opens up, says Diario Gol.
And on the day talk of interest from Manchester United is again being raised, it's emerged Bale has told Modric that he's unhappy with his present situation.
Bale finished last season out of Zidane's first XI and the expected arrival of Kylian Mbappe from Monaco has cast futher doubt on his status, particularly with news of Karim Benzema being offered new terms.
Modric has made contact with Zidane to express Bale's concerns, with the message: "He will not stay if this continues..."
