Manchester United officials are seeking informal talks with Leicester City about the availability of N'Golo Kante.
Goal.com is reporting that the Red Devils will check on Kante's situation with the Foxes when they visit Old Trafford for their potential title-winning clash with United on Sunday.
The 25-year-old French midfielder has been a standout for the East Midlands club in his debut season in England's top flight and has attracted interest from a number of clubs in the UK and Europe.
Arsenal are said to be showing considerable interest in the PFA Team of the Year selectee but United are hoping the Gunners do not steal a march on them and will hold chats with Leicester chiefs to gain an understanding of whether or not they could be open to a sale.
It is understood that Kante has a buy-out clause of £20million in his Leicester contract and United are keen to explore the possibility of luring him away from the King Power Stadium this summer.
Red Devils youngster Andreas Pereira, who is of interest to the Foxes, could be offered on a season-long loan as a makeweight to sweeten the deal according to the report.
