Manchester United are prepared to consider the sale of Wayne Rooney. The Sunday Times says United may consider selling Rooney next summer, after the England striker was informed that his future will not be addressed for another 12 months.
David Moyes, the manager, wants to see how Rooney performs next season before the club discuss the possibility of a new contract.
The England striker has been pushing for new contract talks for the past six months.
