Manchester United chief scout Martin Ferguson has urged brother Sir Alex Ferguson to go for Borussia Dortmund star Mario Gotze.
The People says Martin Ferguson flew to Germany recently and was impressed as Gotze - valued at around £25million - scored two in a 5-1 defeat of Wolfsburg before the international break.
The German FA's technical director Matthias Sammer described Gotze "one of the best talents that we've ever had" and Arsenal have watched EVERY Dortmund game this season.
Gunners boss will get another close up of Gotze this week when Dortmund arrive at the Emirates for their Champions League tie and it is understood United will have a scout at the game.
