Confusion reigns over Manchester United's pursuit of Inter Milan midfielder Wesley Sneijder.
While there were claims of United chief David Gill being in Milan yesterday for transfer talks, he was instead in Zurich.
United boss Sir Alex Ferguson, meanwhile, is quoted in Scandinavia admitting they've had a bid for Sneijder rejected and that "Inter do not want to sell him".
Inter officials insist no talks have been scheduled with United for this week.
There's speculation this morning that Gill will be in Holland today to meet with Sneijder's agent, Soren Lerby.
