Man Utd chief Gill unhappy with home attack

Manchester United chief executive David Gill has spoken about the paint attack on his home last Friday by fans opposed to the Glazer ownership of the club.

The Manchester offices of AIG, the club's main sponsor, were victims of a similar attack yesterday and Gill admits that the bad feeling towards the Glazers is unlikely to go away. He said: "It's not nice for the family. But we have cleared it up and moved on.

"It's the first time I've been affected in this particular way but I've been clear all along that there will always be people who are opposed to the takeover of the club."
