Manchester United chief David Gill has radical plans to shake-up the Premier League season - and find room for a winter break.
The Sun says the compromise Gill thinks might work is to divide the Premier League into two, with 10 teams playing over the Christmas and New Year period while the other 10 rest - and then vice versa at a later date.
Gill is yet to formally share his idea with the other 19 Premier League clubs. And it is unclear how much of an appetite there will be from them, or among the FA hierarchy.
