Manchester United chief executive Clive Woodward has arrived in Barcelona in an effort to finalise a £22million deal for Spanish international Pedro.
The Daily Mail is reporting Woodward visited the Nou Camp to watch the second leg of Barcelona's Spanish Super Cup tie against Athletic Bilbao, in which Pedro played 68 minutes.
Woodward will now focus on tying up a deal with the Catalans club for Pedro, after late interest from Chelsea threw a potential spanner in the works.
It is believed Woodward also made the most of the opportunity to watch Bilbao defender Aymeric Laporte, with United considering making a bid for the 20-year-old Frenchman.
