Man Utd, Chelsea track Xavi's drawn out Barcelona contract talks

Manchester United and Chelsea are tracking Xavi's contract talks with Barcelona.

It's emerged in the last 24 hours that negotiations have stalled over the length of contract Xavi is seeking, which has alerted both United and Chelsea.

United boss Sir Alex Ferguson sees Xavi as the ideal playmaker to succeed veteran Paul Scholes, while Blues manager Luiz Felipe Scolari would love to add the Spaniard's creativity to his industrious midfield.

Don't forget, it was C.Ronaldo's "dream" to play for Real Madrid but that didn't happen, did it? Countless players have said its their dream to play for a club or retire at their boyhood club, but is doesnt mean anything. Xavi is just telling the Barca press and fans what they want to hear. Fergie is a long term admirer of the playmaker, and i'm sure Xavi would rather play for Utd than Chelsea if a decision was to be made. He probably won't leave Barcelona though

hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha%%%

I am a chelsea fan but what i think the team needs most is a very good and fast attacker not a midfielder
