Edinson Cavani has suggested that he could be on his way to Atletico Madrid this summer.
The Uruguayan is reportedly fed up with his peripheral role at Paris Saint-Germain and could quite possibly leave Parc des Princes in the end-of-season transfer window.
While the likes of Manchester United and Chelsea have shown interest, Cavani has hinted that perhaps a transfer to Champions League finalists Atleti could be on the cards.
"At PSG I have always seen myself as a No.9 even though I've never played that role. I always sacrifice myself for the team," he told VTV Uruguay.
"The future?
"(Diego) Godin knows me very well and has repeatedly told me that I should go to Atletico Madrid as his teammate."
