Man Utd, Chelsea officials face-to-face over Evra row

Manchester United and Chelsea officials will come face-to-face in Moscow today in the wake of their row over Patrice Evra's bust-up.

The Daily Mail says the rivals are embroiled in a bitter dispute that looks to be heading towards an FA inquiry after allegations from Old Trafford that defender Evra was subjected to racist abuse by a member of the Chelsea ground staff in a post-match bust-up at the weekend.

And officials from both clubs, including United chief executive David Gill and opposite number Peter Kenyon, will meet in the Russian capital today as part of the build-up to the May 21 Champions League Final.

Kenyon and Gill, who used to work together at Old Trafford, spoke several times by telephone last Sunday before Gill refused to bow to Kenyon's demands that he agree to a joint statement clearing Chelsea of blame.
