Gareth Bale has held face-to-face talks with Real Madrid president Florentino Perez.
The Wales international has major concerns of where he fits in coach Zinedine Zidane's plans this season. Even if a new attacker is not signed, there is an internal push for Zidane to favour Isco and Marco Asensio ahead of Bale.
The midfielder is aware of the rumblings and Diario Sport says he has spoken directly to Perez about his situation.
The president has attempted to placate Bale, though knows Zidane is now seriously considering selecting Isco and Asensio ahead of the €100m signing.
Manchester United and Chelsea are monitoring developments, though both clubs have told Perez they won't go higher than €100m for the Wales captain. Perez, meanwhile, insists €120m is a more realistic assessment.
