Chievo Verona goalkeeper Alessandro Confente has popped up on Manchester United's radar.
The Sunday Mirror says United have stepped up their interest in Chievo keeper Confente.
Reds scouts were already keeping tabs on the 18-year-old before boss Jose Mourinho's arrival in the summer. But since then they have watched him even more closely, with Juventus also on alert.
Confente is working with Chievo's senior squad but still attached to the Serie A club's youth team. He is under contracted until June 2019 and valued at around £4m.
