Manchester United are casting their net wide to find replacements for Paul Scholes and Ryan Giggs.
The Daily Star Sunday says United continue to be linked with midfielders and with Scholes now 38 and Giggs 39, that is hardly surprising.
Inter Milan's Wesley Sneijder was the original target and the Dutch master is currently in dispute with the Italian club.
United have also been eyeing German midfielder Mesut Ozil's situation at their next opponents in the Champions League - Real Madrid.
There is also concern at Everton that Marouane Fellaini could be a United target in the summer, given the history of deals between the clubs.
