Matija Nastasic credits Manchester United captain Nemanja Vidic for his success with Manchester City.

Nastasic has revealed how Manchester United skipper Vidic gives him advice about settling in to life in England.

City's Mr Nasty said: "When I arrived I asked him for advice. For me he is a great friend and a great person.

"He gave me advice about lifestyle and adapting to English football. But he never told me I joined the wrong club.

"Mind you, I never looked at the other side of Manchester.

"The first two games gave me confidence because I noticed that I could cope with the Premier League. I expected a transition of six months."
