Wayne Rooney became the most capped outfield player for England on Sunday.
The Manchester United captain played his 116th match for the Three Lions in their 1-0 win over Slovakia in World Cup qualifying.
Rooney moved past David Beckham to be the stand-alone caps holder for non goalkeepers, and is now just nine from equalling Peter Shilton's all-time record of 125 appearances.
During his international career, Three Lions skipper Rooney has also scored a record 53 goals for his country.
