Thierry Henry believes it is time for Manchester United to usher in a fresh age under Jose Mourinho.
The Portuguese is expected to be unveiled as United's new manager on Friday and former Arsenal star Henry suggests it is an inspired move by the Old Trafford outfit.
"I think it's great for the league and great for Manchester United. It's a new era now," Henry told Sky Sports News HQ.
"We all know what Jose Mourinho can do and it was clear they were always going to go for him.
"There's no need to talk about how good he can be, we all know he can be amazing.
"Everyone now at United is dying for success and that's personally what I associate them with.
"A lot of the time at Real Madrid his teams outscored Barcelona. It's about winning for United at the moment - the fans want instant success and he can give them that."
