Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal wants early business done this summer market.

United didn't sign in four of their new players last August until the season was underway which hampered their start to the Premier League.

Van Gaal is hoping all business will be done quicker this time around so United can hit the ground running on August 8 when the season opens.

"We hope so. But that is so difficult. You cannot prevent that because every negotiation these days takes longer and longer," he said.

"Last year was the consequence of the World Cup. Other clubs had that problem but I was just starting, so that's a little different."
