Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal has paid tribute to Barcelona star Lionel Messi.
United will meet Barca during their US preseason tour.
"Messi proves himself nearly every game.
"Despite his immense talent, he remains very modest. I like that in him and I respect Messi a lot," said Van Gaal.
