Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal wanted to exploit the lack of pace in Liverpool's defence yesterday.
Van Gaal went with James Wilson over Radamel Falcao due to the youngster's leg speed.
Wilson turned the Reds defence around time and again during the 3-0 win.
Van Gaal revealed before kickoff: "Radamel Falcao is fit to start. We need James Wilson in this match because of his speed."
