Manchester United boss David Moyes has refused to launch a public battle with club greats critical of his management.
Both Gary Neville and Paul Scholes have slammed United over the past fortnight in the media.
"Gary and Paul came through the ranks so they know exactly what is required," said Moyes. "They are two people who are vastly experienced and knowledgeable about the club. I will listen to what they are saying.
"They are in a position where they are entitled to speak. Both are very well-informed about Manchester United. There wouldn't be any better people to talk about United than either Gary or Paul Scholes."
