Manchester United boss David Moyes expects Wayne Rooney to see action for England tonight against Scotland.
United chiefs had considered blocking Rooney's involvement, but Moyes ultimately had the final say and agreed to allow the striker to join the England camp after talks with coach Roy Hodgson.
The Daily Mail says Moyes expects Rooney to play for 45 minutes tonight and has by all accounts not yet ruled his No 10 out of Saturday's opening league fixture at Swansea.
Rooney is well aware that a place on bench at the Liberty Stadium is dependent on how he does tonight.
