Manchester United boss David Moyes has dismissed Robin van Persie's controversial interview on Dutch TV last week. The Mail on Sunday says Van Persie's comments in a television interview after the midweek 2-0 Champions League first-leg defeat at Olympiakos raised eyebrows, particularly when he complained about team-mates 'occupying the spaces I want to play in'.
However, the Dutchman's openness has not caused problems within the United camp, with Moyes seeing it as an opportunity to improve their on-pitch understanding.
There is not believed to be any personal issue with his manager and the content of his interview is being regarded inside Old Trafford as the naturally forthright way Dutch players express themselves rather than being premeditated or mutinous.
