Real Madrid midfielder Luka Modric is under consideration at Manchester United. The Guardian says Modric could emerge as a fall-back option after the Cesc Fabregas pursuit appears to have ended. Real Madrid's former Tottenham star is said to have long been admired by David Moyes.
Real coach Carlo Ancelotti has stated this week he is planning the new season with Modric part of his squad.
