Manchester United boss David Moyes sees Remy Cabella as a solution to his midfield's creative problems.
Montpellier manager Jean Fernandez has announced he's prepared to sell Cabella for £15 million in January.
Cabella has been in sparkling form for Montpellier this season, scoring five and assisting two goals for the French side.
He starred in their recent 5-1 demolition of Lyon, having a hand in each of Fernandez' side's goals as his list of potential suitors grew.
Moyes was desperate to bring in a creative midfielder but a proposed late move for Athletic Bilbao's Ander Herrera hit a snag.
Moyes did eventually raid former club Everton to sign Marouane Fellaini but with the Belgian being deployed in a deeper role, Cabella could be an ideal acquisition.
