Manchester United boss David Moyes remains upbeat over chances of landing Barcelona midfielder Cesc Fabregas. The Daily Star Sunday says he is refusing to give up on £40m-rated Fabregas.

The Spaniards have splashed £50m on Neymar and are also targeting Chelsea's Fernando Torres, so the writing is on the wall for Fabregas.

He is not giving any encouraging signs that he will quit the Nou Camp with comments that talk of him leaving is "absurd".

But Moyes has seen all these games played before and he will wait over the summer before hopefully landing another big prize.
