Manchester United boss David Moyes is happy to have Sir Alex Ferguson around the club.
Moyes insists the legend's presence is not a hindrance.
He told MUTV: "'I feel the opposite. I feel that he is really helpful. I see him as regularly as I want to see him. Overall, I have found him really good. I can't think of any manager that wouldn't want to use Sir Alex as a sounding board and for advice. He has been very good to me, he has not interfered with anything and he keeps his distance. He understands this early period.
"He is a director of the football club, he is someone who has a big say in the way this club will go in the future and in our plans, whether it be to develop youth or plans around the football club. He is someone we should use and we should use his knowledge and everything he's got."
