Man Utd boss Moyes in Germany to see Freiburg youngster Matthias Ginter

Manchester United boss David Moyes was in Germany yesterday.

Moyes made a check on Freiburg youngster Matthias Ginter in action against Hertha Berlin.

The Daily Mail says Ginter, one of four newcomers in Germany's squad for next week's friendly with Chile, has also attracted strong interest from Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund in recent months and looks certain to be on his way at the end of this season, if struggling Freiburg are relegated.

Moyes has now joined the chase and senses the chance of a cut-price deal for the 6ft 2in defender, who is under contract until 2018 but is expected to be available for as little as £7.2million after making it clear he feels ready to step up to a bigger club.
