Manchester United boss David Moyes has no qualms playing Rio Ferdinand in three big games this week.
Ferdinand, 34, has recovered from the persistent back and groin problems that for some time appeared as though they may derail his United career.
Moyes remarked: "My view on Rio is how well he has played, how consistent he has been and how fit he has looked. We give him the opportunity to tell us if he is ready and you can see in the games how well he has done."
