Man Utd boss Moyes dismisses Lucescu 'rotations' advice

Manchester United boss David Moyes has dismissed advice from Shakhtar Donetsk coach Mircea Lucescu about his rotations. Lucescu suggested that so much chopping and changing has not helped him adjust to life as Sir Alex Ferguson's successor.

"Turnover creates a lot of problems," he said. "In the Ukrainian championship we are not rotating the squad as much as United, so maybe that is why we have been more secure.

"We have analysed United's games and noted there are always some changes.

"We see four or five new players and because of rotation the links between players are not very good."

Moyes was quick to counter: "It never caused Sir Alex Ferguson any problems. Manchester United always have had a big squad of players and it's my job to use them."
