Manchester United boss David Moyes branded their derby performance last week as 'embarrassing'.
The 4-1 reverse at Manchester City was followed up by yesterday's shocker at home to West Bromwich Albion.
"We returned from the Eithad last weekend embarrassed by the performance we put up against Manchester City," Moyes told yesterday's match programme, United Review. "I had not seen that level of performance from our players in any of the games in pre-season or the competitive matches since.
"In fact, I've been more than pleased with some of our displays. There have been games where we've lacked goals and others where we've lacked creativity in making chances, but overall the team has looked solid.
"So for us to be four-nil down after 50 minutes was disappointing to say the least."
