Manchester United boss David Moyes has defended the form of Rio Ferdinand.
Moyes admits that as Ferdinand's 35th birthday approaches he will have to pick the games he plays with increasing caution.
But the Red Devils boss said: "I actually think that I've seen Rio being very composed in games. He's not missed a day's training since I've been here.
"Obviously, we need to manage him because of the stage he's at in his career, but he has been fit and available in all the games.
"Overall I've found that he's been very good."
