Man Utd boss Moyes could go on summer hols without meeting 'worried' Rooney

David Moyes could leave Wayne Rooney hanging over his future at Manchester United as he heads off for his summer hols. The Daily Mail says Rooney fears he will be left in limbo by Moyes while he fulfills his commitments with England.

The new United manager is scheduled to go on holiday on Wednesday for three weeks and has yet to speak with Rooney about his future.

It means the England forward, who has been reassured already about his role with the national team by manager Roy Hodgson, faces an uncertain few weeks.

Although Moyes has privately indicated that he wants to resolve the issues with Rooney, no official talks have taken place.
