Manchester United boss David Moyes has played down an injury cloud around Nemanja Vidic.

Asked about Vidic's progress, the new United boss delivered an encouraging report but couldn't guarantee he would fly out to join his team-mates.

Moyes said: "He has had some injections. It's sciatica. He may come out and join us but we don't want to make it worse by flying him across the world."
