Manchester United boss David Moyes is confident bringing Southampton fullback Luke Shaw to Old Trafford. The Daily Mail says for the Saints, the landscape may have changed after it emerged that a £27million hole in their finances is causing increasing concern among the St Mary's bosses.
Moyes is optimistic that will enable him to see off interest from Chelsea and Liverpool for Shaw and snap up the England left-back for around £25million, as replacement for Patrice Evra, who looks bound for a return to his native France at the end of the season.
