Manchester United boss David Moyes admits it's close to time to secure Nemanja Vidic to a new deal.

The Serb's existing contract expires in June and Moyes knows Vidic will be free to commit to a pre-contract with a foreign club from January 1.

"We must now evaluate the situation concerning Vidic's contract, but now is not the time.

"I am sure that from the club will do everything to resolve this situation," said Moyes.
