Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho has explained why he was so determined to sign Zlatan Ibrahimovic last summer.
The former PSG striker has been outstanding for United this season.
Mourinho explained to France Football: "Manchester United no longer has the super personalities that were Giggs, Scholes or Roy Keane. There is Rooney and Carrick, who are the last faces of this generation, and a new group of players that has to adapt.
"That's why it was important for me to get Zlatan.
"In this team, he had, without being English, without knowing the culture of the club, the personality and profile to be more than a simple player."
