Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho has dismissed talk of his team being early season title favourites.

His side followed up their opening day hammering of West Ham with another 4-0 victory, this time away at Swansea City, to strengthen their early lead at the top of the table.

“I prefer to say that we started last season with two matches, six points, and we finished sixth," said Mourinho.

“Two matches are not the end of the world for people that lose, and it's not paradise for people who win.

“I am happy, of course, and the quality of the performances gives me even more confidence."
