Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho is ready to back Sergio Romero all the way to the Europa League final.
The Sunday Mirror says Real Madrid's renewed pursuit of David de Gea is likely to cost him a place in Mourinho's starting team if the Reds overcome Celta Vigo in this week's semi-final second leg.
Mourinho has told members of his coaching staff that he is ready to stick with back-up goalie Sergio Romero if he guides United to Stockholm on May 24.
The Argentine played in United's first-leg victory over Celta Vigo last week.
Mourinho will not hesitate to make the 30-year-old his No.1 for United's biggest game of the season if he feels De Gea's head has been turned too much by Real's latest approach.
