Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho has told his agent Jorge Mendes to get him Kalidou Koulibaly.

RAI Sport says Mourinho has given Mendes the brief to broker a deal with Napoli for the defender.

United's board have already assured Mourinho they're willing to pay over £100m next month to bring the Senegalese to England.

And strengthening their hopes is Napoli's failure to reach the Champions League round of 16.

Mourinho is now counting on Mendes to strike terms with Napoli, where he enjoys a good relationship with president Aurelio de Laurentiis.
